Le Chéile have reclaimed the Toronto League cup after a ferocious battle with Na Piarsaigh on Sunday August 13th.  

This is the teams fist cup of the year and all roads now lead to Denver for the USGAA Finals on August 18th - 20th and the Toronto Championship Final on September 9th.

Sunday, June 4th, saw the Camogie Blitz make a come back with players from five teams across the city take part.

It was a fabulous day in Centennial Park with some great camogie showcased from players of all skill levels. A special thank you to everyone who came out to pick up the small ball for the first time, you all did fantastic!

Le Chéile travelled to New York to kick start their season by playing a practice game against a mixed senior New York side (Liberty Gaels & Annie Moore's) in Gaelic Park on May 20th.

It was a dreary wet day in New York however, this didn't stop Le Chéile getting off to a very quick start, they settled their nerves with some fabulous scores.

New York were strong throughout the field also getting some fine scores however, the Le Chéile defense stood strong and the work rate that Le Chéile brought to the game throughout the field got them over the line.

Le Chéile would like to thank Annie Moore's, Liberty Gaels and New York Camogie for hosting them in Gaelic Park, presenting them with a lovely plaque and a dinner after the game. 

We hope that this is just the beginning of this great relationship which will help the progression on Camogie in North America. Here's hoping that you will come to visit us in Toronto in the near future.

After a long and busy day of travelling as far as our legs would take us, we are delighted to announce that Le Chéile have won the #GoTheDistanceTO challenge collectively travelling 1287.41 KM ( average of 33km per player) in 12 hours. Big shout out to Na Piarsaigh for an unbelievable challenge and a very tight one at that with them achieving an average of 29km per player. Overall an extremely positive day for all involved with the main winners being Solace House with a total of $1765 raised by both teams so far. Thanks to all who have donated  and please feel free to continue to donate in the lead up to their main fundraiser next weekend as it is such an amazing resource for our community. Finally a HUGE well done to all of the fantastic ladies and gents who took part today - rest the legs up tomorrow!! #InThisTogether
